Review: I was taking items to the storage unit I had just rented, when I got there-there was a lock already on the unit. So I called them and after talking on the phone (the woman I talked to was very nice and courteous) they got me into a different unit. It took a while but they did right their wrong. So it all worked out in the end.

Review: Numbers on the buildings are not large and clear and easy to read. The roll up door is not working well. I had to fight with the door and the locks to get them opened and closed. The door is extremely hard to open and close. Can I get this door fixed? I am disabled and this is a big problem for me. The door is absolutely messed up.

It is approximately 75 square feet of space. This type of unit is suitable for the contents of a one-bedroom apartment, including major appliances.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals, or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items you store. The storage facility's insurance protects the location that houses the storage units, not the contents of individual units. If your homeowner's insurance doesn't cover your items, the facility manager can usually help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions will be covered in your storage unit.
