Only just moved it, but so far the experience has been excellent! Only issue I have is that I would like to have had a light inside the storage unit itself. My unit is a corner unit, so it does not benefit from the light in the hallway very much.

Ida and the team at U-Store It were kind and helpful from day one. We are selling our home and needed storage so that we could declutter and stage the home and then eventually move. Signing up on their website offered an online deal for 50% off the first month. It's a really nice, clean, secure storage facility. Don't let distance or area be an obstacle. It's easy access off the 805 Freeway and super easy to get back on the 805. I don't have much experience with storage rentals, but my husband said it's a really nice facility - he has rented from North Park Storage in the past.

When I arrived with my UHaul, I was welcomed. I was attended very quickly to start the processing of getting a unit. The staff was friendly and spoke my primary language, Spanish, and proceeded to show me the units that I was looking for. Once I decided what I wanted, I got a promotion of the second month being free if I paid the first month. The unit was clean and I was assured that my belongings were safe.

This place is brand new, no doubt about it. But on the day of my move in i got lost and wandered through the facility and some units seriously are storing food or something horribly rotting. Im surprised they haven’t just gone into it and cleaned ot out. It smells awful and certainly its gotta be attracting pests, as soon as it gets warmer out.

I just finished moving into my unit and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I ended up having to rent a U-Haul to get the remainder of my stuff out of home and it was very convenient having the trucks on-site to rent out. Clean facility. If I had to pick on something to improve it would be the lack of adequate parking spaces to unload and load into the facility and the need for more “push carts” for customers to easily move several items in and out with ease. Over all, two thumbs up! Almost forgot, the price was great too! I couldn’t find a deal that beat this one for the size of unit I got for the price I got! And I looked extensively throughout the San Diego region too.

The service was great, took a little longer than usual to get checked in and signed up but they were very nice. The buildings and storage are very clean, they had multiple carts to use on my move in day . Only issue was the parking . There was barely any parking, unfortunately there were 6 other cars on my level also moving things in and out so we had to park in front of the emergency exit gate. Not really the best thing to do. But other than that issue all was well.

Sunday 05/28 i was trying to move last minute thing i was not able to access my unit due to elevator not working i came back 05/29 elevator still not working no one was available to assist it was a waste of my time and gas to go twice. now i have to move my last thing today 05/30 when i could of been done over the weekend now i gotta use more gas of my car and do this after a long day at work it is such an inconvenience.

So there's a key pad to use everything. I expected this for the gate, but not the elevator. This is fine though I can see where that would help in some way. The front desk seems super clean like, like ... a car dealership, where the vast empty space should have a car there or something. The reps on duty are courteous to a fault. I think maybe that during peak times there should be more than two on duty. And maybe anextra rolling cart should be available. There is only one per section of the property.

Paula on the front desk was exceptionally helpful. She went through with me as I explored my sizing options. She was very thorough and patient as I made decisions. She was also able to help me with deals and saved me some money since I had gotten 2 units. After the paperwork completion, she also walked me through to make sure that my access code was working for the main gate as well as the elevator. Pleasure to work with. Has definitely earned my business.

This place just opened as of 10/01/16. If you're reading this in later than October 2016, then you are officially in the future and it's no longer "just opened' recent. Staff was very, very good. Facility looks clean with good hours. The one-time fee and 'mandatory insurance' are big cash cows for all self storage places and this one is just like them. But top-notch staff (David is outstanding and the manager is great, she's on top of things) and good facility.

U-Stor-It is a great storage facility with competitive rates. With their grand opening promotion, the first full month of storage is free and it is credited for the full 30 days; this is unlike other storage facilities that will only provide the free/$1 first month promo for the remainder of the calendar month. There are surveillance cameras and dolley carts easily available for use. I like that renters can access their storage units as late as 10pm almost daily. I highly recommend U-Stor-It if you're looking for a storage unit in the area.
