I wanted to like this storage facility because the prices are good. However, there are a few MAJOR issues with it. We rented the biggest available unit because we were moving 3 states away from our home. When we arrived at the location, which was in a run down side of town, we realized that the location of our unit was not accommodating for a 30 foot trailer to get in and out. We made it but got stuck on the way out and had to get creative to get out. The first real red flag should have been that the gate was standing open when we arrived so there was no need to put a code in. We were there unloading our trailer at 3am because the rain slowed us down getting into town. As we were unloading we heard coughing and it surprised us how close it sounded, so we got uncomfortable and got our guns out and put them on our person. Next thing we know, one of the unit doors a few down from ours opened and we heard a guy saying “Don’t shoot I’m coming out.” Obviously we had our guns ready because it scared the crap out of us. The guy proceeded to come out, walked around the corner and relieved himself by the building. Needless to say we called the cops! They trespassed him and he went to jail. Next day we went back to check our stuff and the gate was open again! The management does NOT make sure the property is secure. We purchased extra insurance that day. The property was also very poorly maintained. It smelled so bad in the unit also. Don’t waste your time using this place!

We were told someone would be at the storage to check us in. No one was there and I guess there is not an office there. After we signed in and paid on line, I was given a number to open the gate. We tried it several times but it did not open. I called the office and was told they would call me back after talking to Management. No one called back so we called the office again and someone else helped us. He gave me another code number and yay it worked. The grounds were grown up but the storage unit was clean.

What is the height of the storage units?

Storage units are approximately 8 feet high.

Do I need to rent a climate controlled unit?

If you have delicate items such as musical instruments, computers, pictures, or antique wood furniture, it is recommended to select a climate-controlled unit. Climate-controlled storage units protect against rust, corrosion, mold, cracking, and warping.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?
An outdoor storage unit has direct access and is usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within a building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals, or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items you store. The storage facility's insurance protects the location that houses the storage units, not the contents of individual units. If your homeowner's insurance doesn't cover your items, the facility manager can usually help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions will be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renter's insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but it does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, so check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6 am and 10 pm seven days a week, you can access your unit using your individual gate code. During office hours, company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests it.
