- Overall I've had a good experience. However I was told by management that corporate was complaining that I was there to much. The only time I go there is after work because I sell stuff online and on ebay for additional income. I have 2 units so finding the product can be tiresome and tends to take a few hours and if I find I have extra time before closing, I like to spend it taking pictures and posting more items online. I pay for a storage for a reason and I've read my entire contract and it doesn't say anything about only being able to go there a certain amount of days in the month. So that part I don't agree with.
I do however appreciate that security comes and locks the place up at night.

- I had come in early in the morning to claim the unit I had reserved, and Teri was very nice and friendly despite the store's computer going down. She explained to me that she could help by doing everything manually or I could come back later. Unfortunately, I didn't have the extra time to come back later, so everything would have to done without the computer. She did manage to get the computer operating, but it was slow and crashed several times. Throughout this, she was having to take calls by speaker phone because the phone cord would cut out. This created a great deal of interruption between me giving her information, me asking her questions and her answering them, and the information the person from the corporate was trying to tell her. Aggravating. Just as she was to show me my reserved unit, a person came into the office and told her that the gate was stuck and an alarm was sounding. She said that the gate often gets stuck in cold weather! If I was storing something of great value, I probably would have requested a refund right then and there. When we walked to the unit, I looked closely at the chain that guides the gate open and closed. It was rusty, and probably could use some maintenance. Overall, I think the customer service is great, but the desire to maintain the equipment that is needed to preserve customer satisfaction and importance is not there.

Finding and renting self-storage facilities in Vancouver, Washington is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving storage facilities throughout Washington, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Vancouver, Washington.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
Are there free storage deals in Vancouver, Washington?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Vancouver?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
