- The customer service is good the hours to get in is very good too. The storage is extremely clean and that is awesome. The only thing that’s something I don’t like is there freight elevator!! you can’t go up in it you have to send your stuff up in it and then go down to one side of the other to go up the stairs to come back to the middle to get your stuff and if anything happens to shift in there when it’s going up it could get caught in the machine it’s self! with the elevator there’s nothing to stop the cart for moving to one side or the other and getting caught in the wire as it’s going up there is no cage that seals the elevator shaft going up inside to keep it from running into the wire that’s on the outside I guess it’s kind a hard for me to explain that but it’s like a piston going up and the only thing you have around it is a cage so if something happens to go to one side or the other it will get caught and more than likely broken! But other than that that’s the one thing that I don’t like.

- First I want to say that Rob was very helpful on my move-in day. You can tell that a new company just took over the building if you get there before sunrise or go after sunset the light bleeds right through the “Trojan storage” canvas cover, but this should confuse you too much at first because you have to move in during office hours which are during daylight hours. But all in all the pricing seems good, I’m on the intro rate for a 5x5 which is $25 (50% off). I’m gonna hold off on google and yelp reviews until February when my rate changes. It’s supposed to be 50 a month at that point, I paid the first 3 months an advance, be prepared to buy a lock though, they don’t sell these at ace hardware, that was 15 bucks nbd. Total I paid at move-in was about 100 bucks and like I said that was for 3 months. I will wait until my February bill to write those google and yelp reviews though lol if it goes up to past 50-60 bucks I’m gonna trash with multiple accounts. That said it is a month to month place which means you don’t sign a lease but yeah it’s possible for them to raise the rent. I don’t know what kind of notice they have to give for that, if any, it can’t be more than a month. INSURANCE, if you don’t have renters insurance go to lemonade and get a policy, mine is 6.25 a month (that’s with higher than minimum coverages) and it covers a lot more than the 6.00 a month that they charge here if you don’t have it.

Finding and renting self-storage facilities in Kenmore, Washington is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving storage facilities throughout Washington, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs.
The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Kenmore, Washington.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
Are there free storage deals in Kenmore, Washington?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Kenmore?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
