- The staff at Protection Self Storage Provo have been very friendly. Getting a unit and moving into it was pretty simple. I was surprised to see so many charges on my first receipt, however. There's an administration fee ($25), taxes ($10), and a property protection plan ($15). Only the first charge was explained when we signed up, and I do not understand why other storage units we've used in the past can operate without a separate line item for taxes or property protection but Protection Self Storage cannot.

- I needed a place indoors to store some stuff while I am moving and Storage on Geneva has been great. When my move date coincided with the one day they were closed due to repaving Amanda loaned me some blankets for free. I was completely willing to pay for the blankets but I really appreciated the gesture. Storage on Geneva is still brand new with plenty of indoor units that are reasonably priced. My mother is even thinking of getting a place near my unit so she can get stuff out of her basement while she renovates.

- My last storage place kept jacking the price up on me, including two price hikes in the last year, which put me around $300 for my unit. So I started looking around and found Extra Space, which was giving me basically the same size unit for $161, just over half my previous price. My previous unit was about 10 minutes from my house, and the new one is about 20, so it's a little farther, but not too much, and it's freeway and highway driving the entire way there. The unit itself looks quite new, and was nice and clean. The lady at the front desk was super fast and got me out the door in just a couple minutes, even with all my questions. Overall, this was just about the easiest transaction I've ever had and I got my first truckload of stuff moved in the same day. Highly recommended, and as long as they don't jack up prices, I'll keep recommending them to everyone.
