- This location has great rates. I don't like that the carts are only available during office hours but I understand people may steal them if they are left out. I also don't like the fact that you have to pay insurance but it is what it is. The elevators can be a bit annoying, having to put a code in each time, but I do see that can help with the security of the place. Overall I am pleased with this storage facility.

- Well I got the unit on Saturday gate has been broken is Tuesday it's still broken. Sunday when we emptied out the truck we were late getting out 916 the manager approached us at 9 and told us to hurry because the alarms would sound and cops would come and we would be charged. Today when I was gathering things due to the rushed visit on Sunday I had a hard time opening my door and it was hard getting everything I needed quickly again was rushed and approached 2 times asking if I stored anything here whoole I was attending to business phone calls in my car. Gates still broken it was 9 am I was there to gather hints why was I approached twice?

- I am renting the 5' x 10' climate controlled unit and was able to easily put there all the furniture from 1 bedroom apartment. The unit was clean, no critters insight. Paper work was done on-line, everything was/is very efficient. Manager was very helpful and answered all my questions. Only thing I do not like as much is, that when you exit the I35N the entrance is very close and you have to cross two lines to get in within very short time on a sometimes busy feeder road.

- This is a basic storage facility with a lot of non-climate controlled units and some climate controlled. I was hoping to get a slightly better deal but it is one of the more affordable ones in the near-downtown Austin area. My biggest knock is that they required me to add their $12/month insurance unless I came to the facility with my own insurance (which I was not aware of).

- The cleanliness is great. The keypad to enter the facility needs to have a separate kiosk so that customers can't park right in front of it and prevent a secure code entering experience. A group of 3 people were parked in front of it talking on the phone that could have easily been just sitting there watching to catch the code of others entering the building. Another day a woman was parked right in front of the keypad organizing her things unaware of her surroundings. I feel like this is the most frustrating aspect of the experience. Who knows if my code has already been compromised that could have easily been prevented by a couple of walls or additional poles in place to prevent parking in the immediate vicinity. Another thing that is questionable is the "climate controlled" feature. I consider humidity to be part of humidity control yet this place does not.

- Took three reservations and attempts before ExtraSpace Hutto could “find” the reservation and help me finish it up over the phone. Instead, whoever answered the phone offered the same space for about two to three times the price. I never figured out if this was an attempt to not honor the incredible price, or if the third party aggregator didn’t transmit the contract properly…. HOWEVER, the third time I tried to close the deal Adonis answered the phone. He DID find the reservation. We finished up the details and I e-signed within an hour. Put my lock in place that same day! Never a discussion about the price being anything different than what my reservation said….so refreshing. When I arrived the place was spotlessly clean. Wandering around inside every light lit up as it should. Everything looked to be in excellent condition.
