- Pricing is deceptive. The price varies, depending on where you located are when you search for a unit. There were two price increases in less than 12 months. I reserved a first floor unit for a specific move in date, but when I checked-in, I was given a second floor unit, with no forewarning or explanation or Before I moved a single item into my storage unit, I decided to rent a larger unit, the first month free offer was not honored on the larger unit because I was considered an "existing" customer. I moved out on the 2nd of the month but was charged for the full month. There are only 2 elevators for 1200 units and at one time, one or both elevators are frequently out of order. I would not recommend Public Storage based on my experience.

- I went in first thing in the morning, and everyone I came into contact with was wonderful! So very helpful, and efficient. The only issue I had was later in the day when we were moving our stuff in. At the same time, there were several other people moving either in or out of their units, and one specific family had used all of the moving carts, and was hogging the elevator closest to my unit for about 30 minutes. I am not sure how many carts Uncle Bob's had, but there weren't any available when we were moving some of our belongings.

The CSR I worked with at the front desk answered all my questions and walked me to the units that I was considering. Everything was clean, organized, and fresh looking. Paperwork went quick, just a couple signatures on the computer, initials, and even though I didn’t know there was a mandatory $12-13 insurance policy on it, I don’t mind paying that little extra for peace of mind, & it doesn’t take away from my overall experience, it adds to it because I know they want their customers taken care of.
