- First of all, Brianna was at the front desk the day we moved in. She was incredibly helpful with answering all our questions and addressing our concerns. She was friendly and emphatic to the stress of moving-in day. Our 10x10 unit was on the second floor of bldg C. PROS: The pricing was very decent when we were shopping around. The whole area looks very safe, with the pin pad gate access and we could see plenty of security cameras all over the place. The units are clean, the hallways are well lit, and security for each one is very adequate with the lock provided. CONS: The second floor units are not labeled at all outside the bldg. Only the 1st floor units are labeled. We literally circled the entire bldg looking for our unit, only having to go in and ask Brianna where it is, only then were told you actually have to go inside Bldg C to see the layout for all the units. It would be better to have labels of 2nd floor units clearly marked on the outside. Most of all: the elevator for this location is only a passenger one, not freight elevator. It was extremely hard to maneuver a regular length sofa into it as the doors are not wide enough, not tall and spacious enough once inside. Why not install freight/cargo elevator in the beginning of a storage facility is baffling. There is the option of stairs, but again, to move heavy bulky furniture is difficult with winding stairs. We realize then the 1st floor units are much better in this sense in moving in.

- I hate showing up at a business near closing hours.., it had been one of those days where nothing was going right and I was in a bad situation. Cindy was so accommodating and made me feel so welcome. She took her time to go through the process professionally and explain every detail. I even explained that I could come back so she could go home(which at the moment I was leaving mine).. It was a such a kind gesture of her to almost know that I wasnt doing well and be kind to me while we looked at the unit. And not show any need to move the process to a level of impatience. I am not used to leaving my items away from home, but she made the process a pleasant experience. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do..like my say.. But she didn't make me feel in any way that I was an inconvenience to her day. Its the little things in life and the experiences during times of difficulty that someone comes along and eases that pain just enough to get through that one process on the way to healing. - Renada at preston frankford is wonderful. 5 stars for her. Unfortuneately, Ed, from Hedgecoxe Plano, who happened to be subbing for her the day I came on site at Frankford to rent my unit, gave me a "temperature" controlled unit withba huge floor to ceiling gap about a half foot wide on the outside wall, which I discovered the next day when it wasnt so dark and cloudy outside. Sunlight and frigid cold air pouring into the unit floor to ceiling in this wide, really wide, crack. Renada had to work extra hard on the system to switch me to a useable unit. Screwed by Ed. What a disaster he made out of my 2nd day, all the re-lifting, moving, running to the decent unit. He couldnt have cared less about the garbage dregs unit he gave me, with alot of fast social chit chat like a real sales pitch. BS. I tried to get him on the phone...the system wouldnt "let"(?) them find him because my unit wasnt at his location. My lawyer will be contacting the regional manager once we find him, and be assured we will. Thanks Renada, for fixing Ed's mess.
