- 9-1-2023: I called SpareBox about covered parking & pricing for our 40’ RV. The man I talked to said the space was 12’ X 48’ and the rent was $109.00 a month which included tax. He repeated at least 2 more times that tax was included. I talked a friend of mine into moving here as he was at our old place & this location is closer for both of us for the same money. Our 40’ RV sticks out from under the supposedly 48’ space by 3’. I measured the spot, it is only 39’ long. The old place we were renting was 45’ long. On October 1, 2023 I received a bill stating I owed $109.00 plus $8.99 tax for a total of $117.99. I called SpareBox and explained the issue with no luck. I asked to talk to a manager and they transferred me to Anthony. I spoke with him and he said that whoever told me that the price included tax was wrong and that I would have to pay the $117.99 monthly to stay in this spot. Now I am paying more for a shorter covered parking spot!!! I suggested he go back thru his training with his employees. I also suggested he hire someone to work at the gate so we had someone in person to speak with. I called my friend that I talked into moving here, what Anthony said and he was upset that he would also have to pay more for the spot that he was renting. He was also told his total would be $109.00 per month, tax included. He is now looking for another place to rent, since he was mislead about the rental price. *First we were told the wrong size of the parking spot. *Second we were told the wrong price. Now we are paying more for a shorter spot!!! We are staying here for now, but can’t say that if we find something else, we won’t be moving as well. I really don’t appreciate being Mislead and then talking a friend into moving here, and after our first billing being completely wrong about the price of the spot. Makes me out to be a LIAR. I will not be referring anyone else in the future & will tell them what has transpired. Respectfully, Ron Schmehr

- I was surprised to say the least. Rented on my schedule with no appointment by using a simple self guided kiosk. The facility is well maintained, clean and appeared very secure. I found the cost of rental was well below the “average” price compared to other facilities with units of equal size. Location is convenient with easy access from my residence. Finally, the facility has many sizes of units that I would be able to go to a larger or smaller unit in the future if needed.

- 2 storages a half block away from each other have the same adress! Not clear which one you need to be at. They are labeled storage #2,#3. I was told to go to storage 2, wasted my movers time then told to go to 3. All interaction done via telephone or internet, so to fix a problem you must sit on hold. Very confusing and aggravating.
