The conversation went as follows: "The doors to Building J are always open." Manager, "I know. People leave them open." "Shouldn't they be checked at night, else you're offering an unsecured unit?" Manager, "Let's just agree to disagree. What do you want me to do, put locks on all the doors?" "Yes, or it's an UNSECURED building." Manager "Well that's not going to happen." Three days after this eye opening conversation I vacated my unit and will NOT consider Public Storage for future needs.

The staff in this location have gone well beyond their duties to make sure i have no problems. They even say hello an goodbye when they see me coming or going or both. - All was simple and easy to complete online. One thing that was a little frustrating was that I was delayed on moving into the unit. When I went the first time to use my unit the gate code would not work and said see manager. That's by appointment only and I was unable to do so being it was on a Sunday. So I wasted a whole day with that. Then Monday I call and the next available appointment was the following day so I had 2 basically lost days cause I could not get into my unit. And all that the appointment consisted of about 10 seconds to see my ID. That was all. I think it would be much more streamlined if it was offered to scan your ID in via hour app or email or something to that effect. Just my opnion. Would have saved me about 3 days in the middle of a very stressful time for me to move in which I was already in a time crunch. Aside from that I did have a good experience in my storage rental process and was satisfied. Thank you

- I had got a 10×10 unit for 40 per month. With only an emailed notification my unit jumped up to 164 pretty month. I had never agreed on that price and why if there are several cheaper units of the same size was I charged for the most expensive one that size? I wouldn't recommend this facility because it's robbery. Units with discounts in the beginning will end up being outrageous in the end with no way to negotiate you will be stuck! Make sure to look Around and be sure if the amount after discount period ends is reasonable and within YOUR BUDGET SO YOU DON'T GET SCREWED LIKE WE DID. Now we have to choose between storage and other bills and can't risk losing our belongings
