- After not being able to get a hold of anyone in order to pick up my keys, I spent ~2 hours waiting to check in to my unit. I had originally planned to stay less than 30 days so I had assumed that this would only cost 1 month. They tried to tell me I needed to be in a contract then said that I would have to pay for 2 months rent instead despite only having the unit for 1 week in Feb and 2 weeks in March. You also are required to pay for their locks, insurance and a myriad of random fees. Further, the other 4 customers in the office at the time were clearly disgruntled with the service they had already had. I do not recommend 21st Century Storage.
