- Will not rent from these clowns again. I was using auto draft for two years rental, rate went up three times. Started out 146.00 to 156.00 to 196.00. When I went to turn in the unit on the March 8, 2022. Martha stated that Kannapolis Self Storage doesn't refund monies at the end of the monthly rental. So, I'm out the monies that is owned to me! I'm on auto draft, that means that I should not be locked out of my unit, they put their lock on the unit I had to be in Mooresville with material that was in the unit, had to wait an hour for them to find someone to take the lock off. So sad that you can't do anything about the situation! My opinion they treat you nice until you move out and then Overcash gets everything out you that they can!! Will not rent a storage unit, buy insurance or buy real estate (((Overcash)))!

- GPS had trouble finding location took us to the school right behind building. Once there we had troubles Backing up in the small parking lot. We did not have our paper work completed due to travelling and no internet services. Once at the building there was only phone call service so we had to turn our 20 foot trailer. Once at our destination we completed paperwork with no concerns. Drove back to the Storage area and could not find our spot to park. Numbers were not there and unclear of where to go. Phone service helped us get to where we should of been. But could not park the trailer in the area due to small space to back up with truck and trailer attached. Building was in the way with other cars near. We saw the area only 80% full so we asked if we can park in a different area. They said they only had 1 spot available. It was easy to pull in and park our trailer.

- I had this unit since April 2023. I checked on it monthly I go in July and there's cockroaches everywhere. It's left a mess and people throw their things in it just to rid themselves of any rodents or insects. D aisle has roaches bad and now im worried to take my stuff out. My whole house is in there all ruined and god only knows how many eggs are left. It was literally in my kids wagon. Running everywhere. They don't spray these units like everywhere else that sprays once a mth. They are nasty and just let anyone get one it's all about the money. But it's unkept and maintenance needs fired im sending pics to corporate and gate stays opened for anyone to access your unit. No one is never there. Nastiest unit we have ever had
