- I picked Public Storage for their "$1 for the first month" deal. But then there was a $25 one time office fee. And the required $15 monthly insurance. And then the $22 to buy the special lock that you have to use (at least for the 5x5 unit). I still went with them since the nearly $60 total was similar to what other places charge for a month. I just wish they were a little more transparent up front with the cost.

- I thought I might have to find another facility because the day before move in, they called and said there was some sort of mix up and my unit wouldn't be available when I needed it. They eventually called back and said it was sorted out and I got to move in time, but it was an added stress I really didn't need. Once I got there, they were very nice and helpful...just a little slow. But the place was clean and everything I needed.
