- Will not rent from these clowns again. I was using auto draft for two years rental, rate went up three times. Started out 146.00 to 156.00 to 196.00. When I went to turn in the unit on the March 8, 2022. Martha stated that Kannapolis Self Storage doesn't refund monies at the end of the monthly rental. So, I'm out the monies that is owned to me! I'm on auto draft, that means that I should not be locked out of my unit, they put their lock on the unit I had to be in Mooresville with material that was in the unit, had to wait an hour for them to find someone to take the lock off. So sad that you can't do anything about the situation! My opinion they treat you nice until you move out and then Overcash gets everything out you that they can!! Will not rent a storage unit, buy insurance or buy real estate (((Overcash)))!

- The service was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast but accurate with the paperwork. My only complaint is that I was not made aware that locks were not included in the fee. Therefore, a lock was added by the person on duty without making it aware that this was an added cost. That was an unexpected $20 cost when I have my own locks I could have brought with me.

The building is new, the facility is not well-kept. Customers leave trash and it isn't removed in a timely manner. There was glass on the pavement where I parked my car to unload and explore the space. A day later it was still there. The storage space I was given was less than 8 feet as a huge air duct consumed a part of the space. The hallway entrance to my very last space on the wing was dark and potentially unsafe to cart materials there at any time other than the middle of the day. Take me off your mailing list or I will work to submit my feedback in a more public way.
