- The property was emaculant and the pricing was pretty decent. The issue I had with my very first visit to Public Storage and my very first visit to any storage facility, has me kinda wondering about the franchise, because on my first evening there I was unloading my contents into my unit and lost track of time and went past the time that I was expected to leave which was 9pm. I went to leave the facility and got locked in with no way out and tried calling numerous times.I was stuck there for over 3 hours until the police arrived after setting off the alarms a half dozen times. There should be a way for a customer to call or enter a code to open the gate in case of a emergency or just even needing to get home & after talking to a officer, I was told that this happens quite often. If it wasn't for me setting off the alarms and not knowing to call the polce to help me get out I would of been stuck there all night. N O T C O O L....
