- I started looking locally for a self storage facility a few years ago. I ended up at a different location for the first couple years and then noticed a brand new one was being built across the street from my neighborhood. The one I was at previously had a cramped loading and unloading area, and never had the greatest customer service when I had a question or issue. Interstate storage has been helpful from the beginning and their location is clean and well secured. If I have a question, it's easy to reach them by phone or email or simply dropping by the office. Overall I'm very happy so far and it's been almost a year.

- Upon arrival to the public storage facility I found to my surprise the security gate completely missing and the facility unsecure. The storage space is as described and the clean. The roll up door is rusted out on the lower right corner and is difficult to open. I arrived at the facility at 4:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and there was no representative in the office to speak to about the security situation and the worn out door. I am afraid to put my car into the storage facility to store for the winter because of the unsecure facility. - Please READ BEFORE RENTING. Note that MN law forbids PS from requiring duplicate insurance (iirc maybe at all idk). If you have homeowner's you most likely already have coverage. Several Nat'l class actions on the global PS Corp bc they keep over 80% of that "independent" insurance they offer. Not to fault of staff that they are required to lie to you and say you that most purchase it and that it is independent... Also a lie. So just insist that you already have the coverage and they will say okay! Please tell others if they are renting. Also they require you buy a PS Chateau lock which I was told you cannot reuse. Otherwise it is clean and well managed.
