- I keep getting late fees for my 2 units. I have called 3X today and each time I talk to someone, give them my call back number, get put on hold and then hung up on. My checked are sent every month, on time. $4,000 paid in just the past 12 months yet they keep charging me nearly $50 in late fees every month even though the people I speak with admit the checks arrive on time. No one calls me back, no one will send me a list of the payments they have received with dates. I just one big SCAM. They cash my checks on time, charge late fees and refuse to send me anything in writing admitting to which checks they have cashed and when.

- City of Kalamazoo condemned this location on June 25 of 2024, I never received a phone call or any form of email notification to tell me that this is taking place. I now have all of my stuff in storage unit and am unable to access it until I can call the city on Monday and find out how I’m supposed to go about this because the roof is considered unstable and could collapse. Due to their inability to keep their billing up I have keepsakes that do not have monetary value that I might not be able to retrieve. This company seems to be a large company in 24 states as they put on their website this year fact that they’ve been collecting rent that is steadily gone up since I have been a customer and they could not keep the building up. Shows me what kind of business model they really use . Do not Use this company.

- Nothing but trouble at this location. Rented a smaller unit, the locking mechanisms are inferior and jam up easy, and don't lock properly sometimes. My unit was broken into along with 6 others. Because my locking mechanism didn't allow it to be locked properly, I wasn't able to make an insurance claim. Alot of my belongings got ruined , 7 trash bags. Sierra, the rudest storage unit manager ever just informed me that I'm not allowed to put the 7 trash bags of my ruined property in their dumpster. She told me I have to dispose of them.l, suggesting that I throw them away at neighboring businesses wich is illegal.I currently have no vehicle. Its been a nightmare. Cube Smart is happy to take me along with many others who had enough with S.R.O.A.

Also didn't realize I had to have a credit card on file thought it could be my choice as to how I wanted to be billed every month but the Manager said had to leave credit card info.
