- Our first visit to the unit, as we pulled in with our moving van and moving help, the manager of the facility saw us and pulled out. We tried to gain access to our unit, our code did not work. With the help of another customer and two calls to customer service, 20 minutes later, we go in. I had left a message on the office phone number in my efforts to get help. The manager called back several hours later. I told her she really should have known that we would be coming and this was our first time, so she should have been there just in case there were problems. She said she had a family emergency, so she had to leave. I said, don't you have anyone else to cover the office while you're gone? She then started pelting me with questions. I said, I don't think I need to answer your questions, you're the one who let us down, not the other way around. She hung up on me.

I was never rushed to complete my transactions and given decision making time. It was refreshing. I completed my storage last Saturday. - I reserved a 10x10 unit from this facility on-line on 4/8/2018 for $119.00. Then I immediately went to this location to finish up all the paperwork. Yes, I could have done it on line but I wanted to see the actual unit I would be getting and I also had questions about the "move in special". After all said and done the $1.00 move in special came up to $69.00. Still not bad for the unit I was renting. The issue I have is that the following month my monthly fee went up to $129.00.Then three months later my monthly fee went up to $159.00.Then 8 months later my monthly fee went to $186.00!!Then it went up again 4 months later to $197.00!! Let me be clear, the employees are great and pleasant and the facility was somewhat clean for a storage facility. The problem I have is with the price gouging. It is now 3/6/2021 and this will be my last month with this company due to the reasons above. I'm not giving them another chance to raise my rent again. Especially when I can get a 10x15 unit at their competitors on the first floor, climate controlled for $109.00 and yes I did my due diligence this time and asked about raising my rent every few months and in this rental contract I have with the new storage facility and after speaking to the manager I am locked in at this rate unless I am late on a payment. So GOODBYE PUBLIC STORAGE!!!
