- I had trouble earlier the same day with a different facility trying to get a small unit. I don't want to bad mouth them so no names it was awful I registered on phone And for some reason I was not able to pay in person so I had to get back on the phone. And give my information. Their systems seem to go down every time, 20 minutes The first time second time I was waiting for 15 minutes and gave up. gotta hold of Prime storage and was registered And paid for in eight minutes I had not seen the place in person yet, but when I got there, I was very surprised. It was an indoor facility 3 stories tall with good service elevators and storage carts to help move your items. The place was very clean and climate control which I didn't even ask for. That's awesome. The manager on site was very courteous. I don't rent storage units very often in my life So far though this has been the best one. Is a good experience all around. The best part they save me an extra twenty four dollars a month, for a 5x5 unit.

- I originally entered into a contract with the prior owners of the facility and prepaid for one year. Prime storage the. Bought the facility and kept sending me emails that I HAD to sign a new contract, even though I already have a contact and have prepaid. When I didn’t sign the new contract, I received an email that they are now restricting access to my storage unit! So I have prepaid AND they won’t let me have access to my storage items. I went in yesterday to clean out one unit and signed a new contract for the other unit and once again, prepaid another year for those contents. Tried to access the building this morning and the garage door is broken and I had to walk around the building on the opposite side to get into a side door. My “access was denied” so apparently the inept clerk forgot to reset my restricted access. Beware that if you rent there and don’t prepay, after approx 2 months, they jack up the rates over 50%! I’d like to know how they can lawfully restrict access to a storage unit that is under contract and prepaid?

- The management made it extremely easy by scheduling a quick appointment. He was very patient when working with me. I have a rare neurological problem and he took the time to make sure I understood everything. I found the price to be within line. The units are located in a good area and the facility is well maintained. It was explained that the locks on site used are cylinder type and will be less venerable to theft. Wonderful service and I felt good about keeping my belongings with his business. Thanks!

- I made all the arrangements for my unit online and paid my rental fee the same way…never saw or spoke with anyone. That feature is awesome. Everything went downhill after receiving my confirmation email. The gate code given in my email did not work. There’s a phone number to call on the gate. Called it ….automated answering system. No return call. At all. I spent all morning and into midafternoon doing nothing but calling that phone number in an attempt to get a code that would open the gate. I went online and sent emails to the only email address provided. I wrote an email explaining I now had to rent the truck for another day because I’d spent the day sitting at a gate I couldn’t open with a loaded truck I couldn’t unload. Finally the maintenance guy got ahold of me because he has access to the facility email. He was incredibly helpful and produced a gate code that worked. We arrived at the unit I’d paid for almost 24 hours previous only to find it had a lock on it. A customer lock. We eventually found a unit that would suit our purposes and relieved to finally get moved in. Never once did any company representative contact us. Never once did a company representative do anything to make our move in fiasco a pleasant experience. Were it not for the maintenance guy, I have no idea how we would’ve gotten in or been able to move into an open unit.
