- I was told that I could move in at any time from 9-5 on a Saturday. I hired movers and paid them for 2 hours, everyone on my end was on time and ready to go, however when we should up at the storage unit, NO ONE was to be found. All doors were locked and there was a sign on loose leaf paper, will be back at 12:35. Now, I get that everyone is entitled to a break and/or lunch however, Saturdays are the busiest moving days especially for people who work a 12 hour day during the week. I went over on my time for the movers I hired and had to pay an extra hour for them. Then to find out through talking with other tenants renting units around mine, that they were offered 50% off for the first 3 months, I was only offered 50% off for the first month. Not happy about overall experience, and am looking for another storage facility as we speak!

- I rented my space on 12/13/2013, and when I came back to store my belongings the stuff forgot to remove the lock Life-Storage places on for there sircuity purpose. This set me back and I was not able to move all my items in that one day with should have only taken me, for my truck rental was on a time schedule. My one day move became a three day move do to the stuff not removing the lock before leaving the facility which was open 9am-6pm on that day. I arrived at 2pm that day, causing me to wait 2 hours for her to return back at the facility. This mistake coast me more money because my one day move at that time became a three day move. Very dissatisfie!!!!!!!

- With the exception of moving in day, when the weather was below zero and horribly windy the experience has been positive . . . Your representative Brenda, is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and friendly. She handled everything in a professional manner yet still managed to treat me as an individual. My reason for need of storage is a sad one . . . my son passed away and until I can bring myself to go through his belongings we require a place near home to keep his things safe. - Upon my arrival I expected to have an excellent experience. I received several reminder emails along with a phone call to ensure my check in would be ran smoothly. Honesty speaking checking in for my unit rental was in fact a breeze however, the customer service I received from the store manager was very unpleasant. Absolutely no personality, no smile, no engagement, and no happiness, just plain old blah. In fact I asked her was she a morning person because I didn't know whether she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or if that was just how she greeted and interacted with her customers. The gentleman working beside her seemed more happy to help me than her. Which in my opinion should have been the other way around if she was the store manager. Kudos to her employee for being more willing to help me and was much more pleasant than her. Because had he not this store location would have lost my business as well as had a bad word of mouth experience from me.
