- Viera Midguard We called and reserved a 10x15 storage unit in advance. We were assured that we had a 10x15 unit reserved. We were also emailed a confirmation of the unit and date we were moving in. We were moving from a different state. We came to pay for it on a Friday. That following Monday we had our movers scheduled to store a lot of our belongings in the unit. When we got there to pay for the storage unit, Midgurad had rented the unit to someone else. There were no more units of that size left. We were told that a reservation does not gurantee that you will have a unit available. WHAT???? We had to rent two units (10x10 and 10x5) to make sure that everything would fit. This meant we had to pay twice for $30 administration fee and insurance. The movers came Monday and we were able to stuff everything into the 10X10 unit. That same day, we came to office and asked for our money back for the 10X5 unit since we no longer needed it or even used it. We have been waiting for over two and half weeks for someone to refund our money or place the money from the 10x5 to the other unit's rent. We have gone in at least five time and talked to the workers inside. They are unable to help us. The management has to refund our money for us. There is no one you can call that is a manager. Believe me we have tried. We keep hearing that the request for a refund has been made from the onsite workers but nothing has been done by management. We have asked serval times to have the workers tell their manager to call us. Crickets.......Nothing!!! This can be easily fixed if someone would just take the time to help us. We are very frustrated!!!

- I made a reservation online. Got a call from a wonderful employee Paul to confirm reservation and see if I had any questions. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very respectful and explained the facts of what I was actually getting. Thank you Paul. First, the spaces as noted on the website, are approximate. You don't get what's actually advertised. Rather than charging you for the actual space you are getting they round up and charge you for space you don't get. But they tell you they are doing that on the website. Second, what felt like the bate and switch. They don't tell you you won't be in the nice new building pictured on the website. Wonderful employee Paul explained what I had a reservation in a 30 yrs old building with no a/c NEXT to the nice new building that's pictured on the website. They old building is NOT pictured any where on the website that would indicate you need to ask which one you will be in. It was not mentioned in my reservation that I would NOT be in the building pictured on the website. The only thing wrong with all of this is that I felt like it was deceptive advertising. I would have liked to have seen this specific verbiage at the time of booking the reservation. NEVER trusting Self Storage. Please update your website.

- I started with a 10/10 unit about 5 years ago, then downsized to a 5/5. After realizing that my home was being overtaken by my daughters things, I felt the need to remove the things she no longer needs, to have some room to breath. I called, to switch back from my 5/5 to a 10/10, I asked to use the truck, and was told no, that switching does not qualify for using the truck the same as moving in. I was extreamly upset by this, since I am a good customer of 4-5 years. I made a trip to the office, and had a conversation with the guys working, and we got things straightened out. I would have strongly considered taking my business to another facility had the manager not changed his tune, and showed us the respect we deserved.
