- I have used this facility for storage several times over the years because of its proximity to the Salvation Army next door, the covered drive- thru so you will not get wet from the rain when you're moving your items from your car to the unit and don't forget the U-hauls on site. - I had a storage unit at a place that was just around the corner from my home. And it was twice the price of the unit at Life Storage! Both places had great customer service. At Life Storage I had to get a tumbler lock instead of reusing my shackle lock, so that wasn't expected. But definitely seems to be a bit more secure in some ways! And having the first month's rent essentially waived, covering most of the move in expenses, was a plus. For my needs, I'm retired and only go by every so often to basically decide "keep or toss" on some boxes of stuff that ended up being moved when we moved a year ago. Overall, nice facility. PLENTY of space, with 8 ft ceilings. And priced right.
