- Wonderful staff who tirelessly answered all of my questions throughout the process really made the experience phenomenal for me. The facility is close to my apartment, very secure, clean and closely monitored. The only thing that I wasn't particularly a fan of was the hidden costs that were not advertised. I didn't know that insurance was required (at $12 a month), a one time fee for administrative reason was needed, or that if I didn't purchase a lock from them I'd have to suffer a 100$ deductible on the insurance. All these few turned out to be fairly small in comparison to the whole thing so it didn't make a huge difference to me.

- Several points of frustration with this place, unfortunately. I called to ask why my monthly rate had risen from ~$120 to over $200 in the last couple of years while the same sized units (10x10) were currently being advertised on SpareFoot for $165, and I got the runaround—first was told that there had only been one rate bump, and then as we walked through the payment history it was confirmed that there had been at least three bumps. When I asked about adjusting to the lower advertised rate, I was told a request would be put in but then never heard anything back. Evidently, the request was wiped out of their system because I spoke to customer service the same day about a separate billing issue (I accidentally overpaid by a month while trying to switch my payment method)—so I was told I’d need to re-start the process, while the next billing cycle for our grossly inflated rent was fast approaching. Ultimately we decided to just downsize to a smaller unit (too many large items to justify switching facilities), but I was again given incorrect information about our ability to just ‘transfer’ to a smaller unit. When we arrived to make the switch, we learned that we would have to treat it like a new reservation to lock in the SpareFoot rate, which meant continuing to pay for the vacated unit for the balance of the month (less than a week, but COME ON) plus paying a $24 admin fee and—surprise—a higher rate for the mandatory insurance. Store elsewhere!
