- I called ahead to see what was available after checking online. I spoke to Joe, who was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Joe explained what the sizing would look like, so I was able to judge the size of storage I would need. He held the size I chose so that I may go to the site to check it out before renting, which is awesome to do, by the way. I went to the site and met another incredibly helpful and knowledgeable employee, Shakira, who also goes by "Sam". She showed me all of the available storage sizes and I decided on one just a little different than the one I had on hold. I immediately leased the storage unit with Sam, which because of Joe, who did all of the important information online with me, made completing the paperwork with Sam a breeze! The prices for the sizes of the units are incomparable there and the place as a whole is exceptionally clean and safe. I had a wonderful experience at this site!

- I've been a customer since 2019 and I have paid over $10K in rent and insurance. My 10 by 20 unit cost me close to $500 a month by the time I moved out this April. When I went to empty my unit, I found many of my items covered in vermin droppings and urine and even a dead mouse body for good measure. I filed a claim only to be told the insurance policy does not cover vermin, but they were willing to pay up to $250 to "cover" what I lost...oh and I am responsible for disposing the vermin infested items that were a direct result of their lack of pest control. I really wish they told me that there is zero pest control before I signed up. I'm not sure if this is how all Public Storage properties operate but STAY AWAY from the public storage in Fairfield CT unless you want to pay a lot of money to have your materials damaged as was my experience.

They have been more than kind, even the manager coming out to assist us in getting things in the storage. We totally Recommend this company, because they care about the community and they want to help you have the best experience possible! The quality and convenience makes you feel safe and going in your storage, especially with the crazy world today. You don’t feel like others are in there that are not supposed to be there. - I've been renting at this facility for several years and the staff has always been top-notch, the facility clean and I've never encountered a problem with the gate malfunctioning. There are a couple of issues, however, that I have to note. The ownership has changed 3 times since I've been a customer, and each time there has been an increase in the rental price and/or the addition of some type of insurance cost or an increase in the insurance cost. (There was initially no insurance requirement if you could provide proof of coverage through another policy). All of this brings their rental rates into one of the highest, if not the highest in the area. The rates, coupled with the lack of 24-hour access are negatives IMHO.
