- There are a few things that I experienced as a first time user that I has lead me to give a 2 star rating. The first is the carts are not available in each area - they have to be checked out from the office which is far from my locker. With that being said... I went 3 times to the storage unit and needed the cart and the office was closed. I came back when it said they would be back and it was closed with a different time as the return time. The second issue is that the lights don't turn on when I open the storage unit and its dark and I have to look for the light switch down the hall. I also noticed rodent pack in the corners that I did not notice when I first saw the unit and this makes me a little weary that my boxes that have some side opening will have rodents or insects in them when I take the boxes out. Overall, I do think an upgrade would help customers have a better experience and having someone in the office at all times. The last comment would be to have longer hours... open earlier than 9:30 and close a little later than 6 pm. It is a little difficult for working individuals like myself to access units. Thank you for hearing my comments. I am not sure if there is anything Public Storage can help me with at this time.

- I am new to Public Storage but there are a few issues that concerns me and one problem that has not been corrected. The door to my Storage unit is not working and I have problems closing it. I was told it would be repaired and it still isn't. Also, there is only one carrier to transport your belongings and on Tuesday when I came it was in use and I had to carry all the boxes to the second floor by myself and it took some time. I would think that a big company like public storage would have more than one. I will give it another month and if the door is not repaired, I will then have to look for another place to store my all my belongings.

If all are checked out (which is what happened in my case), I had to carry boxes from the car to the storage unit. They did offer to sell me a furniture dolly, but why should I have to buy one???
