- Didn’t want to accommodate my disability by being unwilling to make a storage unit closer to the elevator without charging an arm and a leg. Space was clean and the staff was friendly, but I could say that about Aptos Storage too, and they have fair pricing !

- I would advise those with large items to take a tape measure to assure the size of the storage unit, including the height of the doors, elevator, and hallways for moving items on wheeled carts. I would also advise to load all materials onto carts, prior to opening the doors, to prevent others from "just slipping in since you already had the door propped open." Too bad I could not use my existing padlock and had to purchase a cylinder lock, that I may only need for a few months.

- Service was good and professional. Halls were very narrow and hard to navigate with large loads. Some hidden prices and generally kind of expensive, but good customer service.

Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Scotts Valley, California.
- Storage unit's rates are based on a few features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- For commercial and business storage, many facilities offer larger unit sizes like 10x20 or 10x30, which are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records.
- Self-storage units rents are month to month.
- Whether a facility offers climate controlled units or only a drive up unit. That will also determine the monthly rent. Usually, storage units which are climate controlled are more expensive than drive up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, and they provide you with your own personal access code to the storage facility. Check with the office for availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
