- I made the reservation online for my Second storage unit. The quote online for this second unit was $1 for storage plus $24 admin fee for the first month. $135 per month there after, on a month by month basis. When I arrived at the office, to complete the paperwork, I was told that the $1 for first month did not apply to me because I was already a customer. This is not the way to treat a well established customer of 13 years. Especially since my current unit rate increases $25 per month on my annual anniversary. Also, I disagree about the admin fee when I did the paperwork on my computer before I went to the office. Richard Ingles.

- Just completed signing up for a Public Storage unit with Angel. She was friendly and very professional. I decided I needed a larger unit than I had initially anticipated and she was able to locate one for me that was easily accessible. She fully explained each step of the sign up process, along with details of each of the initial fees and as this is the middle of the month, how the monthly rental fee is pro-rated for January to bring me to the full fee starting February. She even walked me over to the gate to confirm I could gain access with the provided code. She made the process smooth and I felt comfortable with the sign up process.

They have really thought through the process of obtaining and moving into a unit so directions for all the processes are clear. - I had hoped to do the e-rental, but was forced to go to the site to complete the rental agreement because e-rental requires that you purchase insurance. My home owner's insurance covers the items in storage and there is no way to report this through the web. The person at the site was courteous and very helpful. - I just signed up for a unit after several weeks of coordinating and planning my decision. Jason, the on-site manager at this location, went above and beyond the call of duty by consistently providing me with honest, useful information. Never once did I feel like I was speaking to a salesman who was trying to push me to make decisions that weren't in my best interest - quite the opposite! He made the entire experience easy and pleasant, and really sets an example of how the customer service experience should be like. It didn't hurt that I got a great deal too! Great experience overall.

- Limited hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm - they will literally lock you in if you are 1 minute over, and threaten you, even though there is someone who lives there on site. All bathrooms are locked; you have to go to the front office if you are working in your storage and need to go. They raise your price without warning, claiming "market price" but when the market price goes down they will not lower it. So the longer you stay the more you pay. Wouldn't you think that loyal customers should get a break?

- Very pleased with the setup experience. I had an issue confirming my eReservation, but a quick phone call, and I was up and running. (Great customer service!) I only have 2 grips though: I didn't realize (I didn't pay too much attention) that the gate access times are pretty limiting. I guess that's one reason the price is lower than some. The 2nd grip is that the lock on my roll-up door is pretty hard to use. The door doesn't line up and I have to fight it every time. Maybe I just need to practice more, we'll see.
