Most storage spaces in Berkeley have mixed reviews that are pretty hit or miss, but I decided to gamble with the Public Storage on Harrison Street. I don't know why they received bad reviews because Public Storage had everything I needed without any fuss. All my belongings were safe and secure, the storage space was clean, and everything was in its place when I returned 3 months later to pick it up. Would definitely recommend!

- My husband just passed and I found myself having to move, I wasn't having a good day by a long shot. I walked into the store on Dam Road and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming atmosphere that I received from the young lady who said she was the Manager of the store. This young lady was personable, extremely knowledgeable, a young lady with a sense of humor. Mind you that this young lady didn't know what I was going through nevertheless she treated me like family. She even helped me take all the items that I purchased to my car. It was extremely refreshing a true pleasure interacting with this young lady. I'm telling all my family about her in hopes to throw business her way. So please keep her you would be crazy to do anything less.

- While the location is less than perfect overall if, like me, you are without a car, the pricing cannot be beat! I was renting a smaller unit at a (slightly) more convenient place, but was paying almost twice as much! The savings alone makes up for the time to get there by bus. Otherwise, the customer service was wonderful - Both Melissa and Jordan made me feel welcome and valued as a customer . . . Which is an all-important factor to me.
