- PS employees are doing their best to accommodate every customer needs but of course they cannot please everybody. I feel bad when I read hostile reviews about them. Common! They just work there! My Veteran boyfriend and I shared 3 units at Burlingame PS. In just 2 months! So far we haven't experienced big deal issues. Thank you.

- I am a single woman in my early 20’s renting a unit at this facility. My unit is indoors on the second floor of a long, mostly unlit hallway. I often drop off my items alone and expected a certain level of security which was not present. Upon arriving to my unit this past Monday evening, there were no cars in the facility but mine. I loaded my things into the lift to transfer to my unit and my biggest fear came to life. There was a tall, middle aged white man lurking in the long hallway as I entered the second floor of the building. He immediately began to slowly approach me, asking me if I wanted to see the jewelry and accessories he had in his unit. When I said no thank you, he continued to approach. I ran of out the building, leaving all of my things in the lift. I waited in my car for another customer to drive up and was lucky enough to encounter a kind man who escorted me to my unit to protect me from the man in the hallway. He continued to try to offer me things and approach even with the escort. It became obvious as we walked past his unit that he was living there or using it as a partial living space. I was able to finish my load but am dreading having to return. Extra space has NO 24 hour security, NO security phone number to call after hours, and obviously NO regulations over what someone can use the space for. There should not be a man living in a unit in the building, especially not one who is a threat to the safety and security of customers, especially other young women like myself. INCREDIBLY disappointed with this facility.

- I went online and immediately I found StorQuest. I made a reservation with only my name and a date. With their great rates and move in special it was a little over $30 to move in. Professional and prompt you will encounter at the desk and a happy customer I am by the hours I can facilitate to accommodate my work schedule and the smell of bleach in the halls. Finally a company that has it figured out. Your next storage must try StorQuest.

- The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. Hours to access the storage units are plentiful. However, at the time of my rental commencement the security fence was not working properly, almost all night lighting was unacceptably inoperable, carts were sparsely found (was told most of them were stolen, and management was not sure when replacements will come while leaving me to use 1 of 2), elevators are small compared to other storage facilities (it's not a freight elevator), only 2 parking spaces are allocated for loading while others are apparently rented (this created an awkward situation when 3 parties needed space), one of the primary entrances has a large lip making carts difficult to utilize, etc. District or area management seems lackadaisical to the facility's dire safety needs.

- Honest, professional service. YEAH.. Perfect. I got exactly what was promised over the phone. The Computers reservation system worked. Staff answered phones quickly. Storage is clean and easy to unload. Prices are comparable with U-haul, except the product is so much better. Everything I didn't get with u-haul storage. BAN UHAUL My storage unit at uhaul was not available. Uhauls computer system was down. No one answers the phone at uhaul for 4 days. The general manager at u-haul storage was berating homeless paying clients, and being condescending to all other clients.

When my car cover blew off the staff replaced it for me and tied it down. Thats great service. - I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.
