- The store manager was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave me a unit that was exactly what I wanted. I had shopped in the area for prices and they were the best. I didn't anticipate the insurance for the unit. It is mandatory to have so fyi-renter beware on any unit. At this particular storage place, the 10x10 is shorter more 9x9. But I knew that. I liked the cleanliness and security. Well worth it. Go here if you are wanting a great customer oriented experience.

- I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.

- Registering at the facility was simple. Nora was professional - helpful and friendly. She took me to the unit which was clean and ample for my needs. Facility in general was well kept. She demonstrated opening and closing up the unit, reviewed the facility rules on our way back. We moved things in on Sunday, had no trouble with access or unlocking/locking the unit. I had not needed a storage space in quite a few years. The whole process was quick, smooth, and timely.

- I think this is a well-run facility with good personnel. The climate control has always seemed ideal when I've visited (about once a month) and no knowledge of power failures. The price is excellent compared to other wine storage places, as is the location near 101. The security appears comprehensive and easy to navigate. There are always dollies and carts to use. The wine area has a nice decorative touch. The staff person present has always been friendly and helpful.

- The staff is very nice the place is ok. I don't know the one I book is not the same as the one I saw a week ago for demo. There is some hidden cost which is not a lot but should know ahead of time. The hidden cost is Admin fee, lock fee, the rate only last 6 months.

- This was my first time renting a storage space and I wanted to look at the sizes Elise was irritated did not want to show me anything told me she had to help another customer and just put me aside so I left and I was able to get a call the next day from Dominique from another facility and right up the street because she was helping out she gave me excellent customer service I wished I could have rented from her facility but it was more convenient to stay at the mission Street facility but again I don't know how you allow a employee to be so rude to the customers and I'm not the only one I spoke to some other people that were there complaining so you should either have a talk with her maybe she's only nice to certain people cuz I did see her trying to talking talking to a man and she was nicer than she was to me I was appalled I came home told my husband he was ready to call the facility and do what I don't know but I I was stunned by her behavior thank you for your time

- Kevin was really helpful today. I found the right size unit after he was kind enough to show me 4 different sizes. He was thorough, friendly and ultimately helpful in getting me everything necessary to start renting a unit. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had the deal as advertised online. His Manager Luciana was right in having Kevin here - Ive been to a few different storage places and people are not usually this helpful.

- When corporate-minded StorQuest took over family run Payless Self Storage everything changed. My 3 year contract was not honored, nor history of my loyalty as long term customer. My rates have gone up 20% every year when the desk staff told me they go up 7% a year. Even during the pandemic considered a State of Emergency when CA penal code says no more than 10%. Yes, it’s clean w. lots of options, but because of price gouging, and indifferent, not so caring staff, I’d go elsewhere.
