- I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.

- I truly despise having to pay to store my belongings for any amount of time because I have trust issues with where it is being stored. From the time i checked in, the staff was very welcoming and assured that my belongings would be safe. The more experienced staff members here (especially the gal that lived in Arizona, I forget her name) really exercise customer service excellence. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. - I am very satisfied with your Pleasant Hill facility manager and the staff, their professionalism and helpful attitude. As well, I like your storage location and the set up. However, just a few days after I've started renting a car space, somebody scratched and dented a side of my van on several places and bent the side mirror again even after I straightened it. I am aware you are not liable for any damages. But perhaps you can install more security cameras and make them clearly visible, so people do not vandalize others property. - Like that there is good parking directly outside of the storage unit and that it is off the public road with a code to get in. The entry door lock to the block is not functioning and that is why I gave it 4 stars. There is no elevator in the block that my unit is in, probably why it was in the cheaper range for that size. Office staff were very friendly and helpful.
