- Booking a 10x30 unit was easy. Lots of paperwork, including insurance that i agreed at the time to buy -- rather than go home and check my homeowners policy ( which I plan to do.) Because the rental started mid-month, I paid the pro-rated amount, with the balance of like $128 due by the 24th of the next month. It was somewhat convoluted, but I understood the request. A week or so later, on the 5th of the month, I get a call from the manager stating that all rents are due on the 1st and that i owed the $128. I reminded her that my paperwork stated I had until the 24th. She pauses while she looks at my account, and says "...oh. Yes, the $128 is due on the 24th. Is that when we can expect payment?" I reply yes, if not sooner. Why she didn't check my account in the first place is perplexing. Secondly, we have a lot of boxes, shelving, appliances and furniture to store in our unit. I have drawn out to scale the placement of the shelving, and the major pieces to be sure they fit, and to save time in placement. The unit is sold as 10' x 30'. To be sure I measured -- and though the width is indeed 10'-0", the depth of the unit is 29'-3". Now 7" in depth may not appear like much, but can make a difference when placing 18 shelf units of various lengths, or allowing for the overlfow of a 3 bedroom house's contents. Maybe deeply embedded in the several pages of fine print there is a disclaimer that unit measurements are approximate -- but this discovery was disappointing to say the least. I hate having to use storage units, as they are extremely expensive, but the only solution for the time we will need it.

The space I have is climate controlled and clean. They have courtesy flatbeds to move your things to your space. They have good music playing inside the building, so it's not so creepy. Lol. Great prices, too.

- Love the facility! It is super clean! Even though the facility claims that this is not a controlled temperature facility, but the storage feel cold. Also, the facility allows the renter to have access the storage from early in the morning to 10 pm at night! This is great for renter who have long working hours during the day but still gets to drop things off or pick things up from the storage after work hours. Highly recommend this place to all of those who need a storage unit!

Only negative is that there's only one main door to get in and out and three parking spaces ( out of the 8 total ) are in front of it so at times you need to wait to park in front to unload your stuff, specially if you bring a big uhaul truck. - There are a few things that I experienced as a first time user that I has lead me to give a 2 star rating. The first is the carts are not available in each area - they have to be checked out from the office which is far from my locker. With that being said... I went 3 times to the storage unit and needed the cart and the office was closed. I came back when it said they would be back and it was closed with a different time as the return time. The second issue is that the lights don't turn on when I open the storage unit and its dark and I have to look for the light switch down the hall. I also noticed rodent pack in the corners that I did not notice when I first saw the unit and this makes me a little weary that my boxes that have some side opening will have rodents or insects in them when I take the boxes out. Overall, I do think an upgrade would help customers have a better experience and having someone in the office at all times. The last comment would be to have longer hours... open earlier than 9:30 and close a little later than 6 pm. It is a little difficult for working individuals like myself to access units. Thank you for hearing my comments. I am not sure if there is anything Public Storage can help me with at this time.
