- Currently renting a 10x15 unit from this location. The staff are friendly and the rental process was relatively quick and easy. My only complaint would be that the pricing is a tad high. Other than that, it has been a nice experience so far.

- They are extremely helpful and are professional in attitude all the way. They have some of the lowest prices for the area for storage also. I've been with them for over 6 years now and I've always felt safe and content with them.

- We have a storage unit, primarily to store things we buy at auction in order to resell. Thus requiring frequent visits.
The manager 'Jackie' has a training opportunity, that if addressed could improve her overall management skils. A focus on communication and the ability to get others to buy in to the information she is attempting to convey is sorely needed.
Without this additional training this facility will continue to breed resentment amongst it's customers which leads to less business growth and certainly doesn't assist with the rash of burglarized units of late.
Additionally it should be noted that "doing rounds at your facility" can be perceived as harassment when the manager drives by on her golf cart no less than five times in a 15-20 minute period...no greeting, no verbal exchange of any sort. Nothing but a condescending look. I'm on the verge of taking my business elsewhere as ive witnessed this manager using appropriate behavior and tone with others. If thesed opportunities are not of a training nature then it could be viewed as a manner of profiling, which, of course, is completely unacceptable.

- I was not informed about moving in before 6 pm so that the person in charge could unlock the unit. I arrived at 8 pm with my stuff as well as my friends stuff- we had around 20 boxes only to find out we had no access to the unit. We tried calling the helpline number and were told everyone lives far off and won’t be able to make it. Since I was leaving the country the next morning at 8 am there was no way I would be able to keep my stuff in the unit. I had paid for 6 months altogether. After waiting and asking for help for over an hour nothing worked. My friend had to leave with her stuff and as I was waiting for my car, I received a call saying someone is on their way. Mind you, if I received the call a min later I would have left the place without having to keep my stuff.

- I've had my storage unit for about two years at this location. The staff, especially Patricia and Eddie, are amazing people and they really do show that they care for their customers. Everyone is so friendly and they always have a smile on their faces. Very well managed property, especially with the new construction going on :-)

- This storage is close to home and is climate controlled which is a plus. Only complaint is that there are no carts to move heavy boxes with. They started locking them and since then haven't been able to use one. My prices went up though. otherwise the facility is nice.

Finding and renting self-storage facilities in La Mesa, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving storage facilities throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in La Mesa, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
Are there free storage deals in La Mesa, California?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in La Mesa?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
