- While I adore the manager Stacey, her professionalism and the ease of renting there, I did not care at all for the man who works there. The one who said he wouldn't give me the cart unless I gave him my driver's license. He did not specify that he'd be keeping it in his hand while also holding a clip board and papers and showing the property to potential renters. I find this unprofessional with such an important piece of identification. After all, you already have everything in my file short of my fingerprints and my first born child. I was also right in front near the gate in full view of the office. When he said "I need to see your ID" I thought he meant he would write down my CDL# and hand it back. When I asked him where he was going with it, he said he couldn't let me have the cart if I didn't let him keep it. A little bit more professionalism please! A very disappointing incident!

- I am very satisfied with your Pleasant Hill facility manager and the staff, their professionalism and helpful attitude. As well, I like your storage location and the set up. However, just a few days after I've started renting a car space, somebody scratched and dented a side of my van on several places and bent the side mirror again even after I straightened it. I am aware you are not liable for any damages. But perhaps you can install more security cameras and make them clearly visible, so people do not vandalize others property. - You really can't find a better value. Not only was my storage unit the cheapest I could find but I also got 50% off the first two months rent. If that wasn't enough...they sent 3 guys with a moving truck that moved ALL my stuff from my old house and into the storage unit. I didn't have to pay movers, not did I have to rent a truck and find help lifting heavy furniture. Great deal.

- I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.

- My husband just passed and I found myself having to move, I wasn't having a good day by a long shot. I walked into the store on Dam Road and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming atmosphere that I received from the young lady who said she was the Manager of the store. This young lady was personable, extremely knowledgeable, a young lady with a sense of humor. Mind you that this young lady didn't know what I was going through nevertheless she treated me like family. She even helped me take all the items that I purchased to my car. It was extremely refreshing a true pleasure interacting with this young lady. I'm telling all my family about her in hopes to throw business her way. So please keep her you would be crazy to do anything less.
