- I am a single woman in my early 20’s renting a unit at this facility. My unit is indoors on the second floor of a long, mostly unlit hallway. I often drop off my items alone and expected a certain level of security which was not present. Upon arriving to my unit this past Monday evening, there were no cars in the facility but mine. I loaded my things into the lift to transfer to my unit and my biggest fear came to life. There was a tall, middle aged white man lurking in the long hallway as I entered the second floor of the building. He immediately began to slowly approach me, asking me if I wanted to see the jewelry and accessories he had in his unit. When I said no thank you, he continued to approach. I ran of out the building, leaving all of my things in the lift. I waited in my car for another customer to drive up and was lucky enough to encounter a kind man who escorted me to my unit to protect me from the man in the hallway. He continued to try to offer me things and approach even with the escort. It became obvious as we walked past his unit that he was living there or using it as a partial living space. I was able to finish my load but am dreading having to return. Extra space has NO 24 hour security, NO security phone number to call after hours, and obviously NO regulations over what someone can use the space for. There should not be a man living in a unit in the building, especially not one who is a threat to the safety and security of customers, especially other young women like myself. INCREDIBLY disappointed with this facility.

- I have used multiple public storage's and have dealt with many of there employees, but I have to say the property manager Nicole here is absolutely by far the best. She is always super sweet and helpful. She goes out of her way to assist and satisfy her customers. Nicole is always polite patient and professional no matter what is going on. I've seen Nicole in action she had a customer that was yelling at her and being rude. She also had myself and 3 other waiting not to mention the rental she was doing. Nicole never lost her cool she was AMAZING. I always make sure to go when she is working because she is the only one at that property that actually does anything and makes sure your helped and satisfied. I've gone there when she's off and its just not the same. The other girls there are not friendly or helpful there always on there phone and most of the time the office will be locked lights off . I know I sure do appreciate it Nicole she is the best. Your lucky to have someone as talented and dedicated to her job as she is. Nicole there does the job of 2 at least this property use to always have 2 people staffed there but ever since Nicole has been up here she is always by herself and she does an amazing job and yet when she's not working there are two and the service is terrible. NICOLE YOUR THE BEST

- I signed the contract lease and received a business card with my gate access information card. They said you can enjoy 24/7 access. This is a big lie. The place closes at 5 pm on weekends. Last Sunday I did have a terrible experience with a rude and lack of customer service from a male employee who was working by 4:50 pm at the Public Storage, 300 Treat Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110 4:50 pm. He should be fired. I'm going to release my storage asap. I can't accept any business that supports this kinda behavior. I'm very disappointed with Public Storage.

- I wandered into a nearby Public Storage looking for a 5x10 storage unit. The local facility was completely full and had no available units. She quickly looked up her inventory online, contacted another, nearby Public Storage and asked them to hold the unit for me. Then, she gave me the name of the person at the other location and driving directions! When I arrived, Stacey was ready for me, toured the unit to make sure it met my needs and expectations and then efficiently handled the paperwork. She even got me to sign up for autopay, which I don't typically do! This was truly a great customer service experience. I am so glad I visited my local Public Storage location!!

- When corporate-minded StorQuest took over family run Payless Self Storage everything changed. My 3 year contract was not honored, nor history of my loyalty as long term customer. My rates have gone up 20% every year when the desk staff told me they go up 7% a year. Even during the pandemic considered a State of Emergency when CA penal code says no more than 10%. Yes, it’s clean w. lots of options, but because of price gouging, and indifferent, not so caring staff, I’d go elsewhere.

- I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.

- It's great to know that in this stale world there are some good people left. With that in mind is what you want to hear when you are shopping or looking for a location to rent from. A persons personality can tell you what kind of place you are renting from. Assurance knowing that your person property will be protected and well taken care of is another. I have rented from numerous locations but there's one clear choice why I go back to this one. Public Storage has always hired great employee's. - I was happy with the customer service. The lady was helpful. However, it took us trice the time it should have to unload our truck into the storage due to the door being broken. We had to access the unit from the door on the other side. There is 1 dolly for everyone to share, so we weren’t able to use it. There is no elevator. I’m dreading the move out.
