- I am a single woman in my early 20’s renting a unit at this facility. My unit is indoors on the second floor of a long, mostly unlit hallway. I often drop off my items alone and expected a certain level of security which was not present. Upon arriving to my unit this past Monday evening, there were no cars in the facility but mine. I loaded my things into the lift to transfer to my unit and my biggest fear came to life. There was a tall, middle aged white man lurking in the long hallway as I entered the second floor of the building. He immediately began to slowly approach me, asking me if I wanted to see the jewelry and accessories he had in his unit. When I said no thank you, he continued to approach. I ran of out the building, leaving all of my things in the lift. I waited in my car for another customer to drive up and was lucky enough to encounter a kind man who escorted me to my unit to protect me from the man in the hallway. He continued to try to offer me things and approach even with the escort. It became obvious as we walked past his unit that he was living there or using it as a partial living space. I was able to finish my load but am dreading having to return. Extra space has NO 24 hour security, NO security phone number to call after hours, and obviously NO regulations over what someone can use the space for. There should not be a man living in a unit in the building, especially not one who is a threat to the safety and security of customers, especially other young women like myself. INCREDIBLY disappointed with this facility.

- Like that there is good parking directly outside of the storage unit and that it is off the public road with a code to get in. The entry door lock to the block is not functioning and that is why I gave it 4 stars. There is no elevator in the block that my unit is in, probably why it was in the cheaper range for that size. Office staff were very friendly and helpful.

When I went to sign the paperwork, the man working at the front desk told me that he thought I could use a smaller storage unit for the amount of stuff that I had. He was totally right! - I am not a big fan of the "William Warren Way" of corporate management of storage facilities... I have three other large lockers at another location and can see the difference in the way the facilities are managed... The thing that has kept me at Storquest is the people "on the ground" who do a terrific job working their way through the corporate structure and personalizing the relationship... Through many personnel changes over the years there have been high caliber people on site that are able to maintain a standard to offset the seemingly questionable rent increases and dysfunction of the phone and computer system... Without them I would have left Storquest a long time ago...

- I had a great time visiting this Extra Space Storage for the first time. The staff were hilarious and very welcoming. I felt like a part of the family almost immediately. The storage unit itself was clean and the door worked smoothly and closed properly. I also like the app. It’s really convenient to be able to get the gate code or pay my bill that way, rather than having to go in or sign in every time I go to their website. The two things I don’t really care for are as follows; I’m not a fan of the gate locking us in at 10:00pm (at least that’s what we were told), it makes for a very stressful time trying to get unloaded when you feel like an axe is hanging over your head. Next is the cost of the insurance on the unit. My unit costs about $45.00/month, but the insurance is around $35.00/month. It’s nearly the same price as the entire unit! Too pricey for sure.

- I truly despise having to pay to store my belongings for any amount of time because I have trust issues with where it is being stored. From the time i checked in, the staff was very welcoming and assured that my belongings would be safe. The more experienced staff members here (especially the gal that lived in Arizona, I forget her name) really exercise customer service excellence. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you for operating a safe space for my belongings.

- I was told I had to get insurance through them for the unit because most rental insurance policies do not cover storage units, which was untrue. Also, they raised the rental price on the unit after six months, another thing I did not know....seems to be a lot of misinformation. Prefer if they were honest and upfront. Do not get insurance with them if you have rental insurance- you are most likely covered.

- It was really easy to sign up, choose a unit, set up a time to move in, and actually move. The staff at this location are really friendly and helpful! When I arrived, they worked with me to find the best unit. In the end, I went with the one I originally chose, but it was awesome that they tried to help me save money. I also got confirmation/reminder calls, which was helpful. The facility itself is well managed. There's plenty of equipment and parking. Made the process much less stressful.

Akiesha has been dealing with us since we started about a year and she is the main reason we have stayed. She is efficient, knowledgeable, fun, and just a fantastic support!
