- After I made a reservation at the McDowell/Scottsdale location I received a phone call from Jim who helped me when I arrived at the location. He was great in showing me the unit and since it didn't work for me Jim kindly transferred my reservation to the storage location in Tempe on McKillips road. When I arrived at the different location, John was great in showing me the unit and getting me all squared away with the paperwork. I will definitely tell anybody who needs storage to use Public Storage.

- Upon nearly completing move in, district manager Clarissa tells me that Extra Space no longer wants me as a customer. So after I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on moving trucks, deposits, moving help etc., Extra Space decided that they no longer wanted me as a client and that I would have to move my things elsewhere. They said that they would refund my money for the units, however that does not include the cost of the truck I had to rent for several days and the cost of the help I hired. I am a small business owner and have been building, refurbishing bicycles for years. I had an excellent customer service relationship with the manager of the store I was at on Southern in Tempe. Out of nowhere Alex, the manager, was transferred to a different Extra Space and suddenly I started getting harassed by assistant/interim managers saying that I could only be on the property for an hour. I wanted to continue to enjoy the benefits of the long standing working relationship that I had with Extra Space, so I decided to move to this different location thinking things would be as good as they were before, back to normal. I was so wrong! I spent hundreds of dollars on the move, the help, the packing materials, etc , just to be told before I completed the move of my 10x10 and my 12x25 that I was no ,longer welcome at Extra Space. They said they'd reimburse the money for the units, but obviously that did not include the funds for the truck, my time, the help I received, or the packing materials I've had to use as a result. For years I've had nothing but positive things to say about Extra Space, this ridiculous situation has been hurtful beyond explanation. There is no reason to cause such problems for a customer who has done nothing wrong and is working on getting his business off the ground for the first time. When I asked the district manager, Clarissa, for an explanation/proof regarding any violation she was unable to do so.

- So we had reserved a parking space for our trailer on Dec 31 ,2024 on the phone yet when we got there there were no employees , and it looks like there is no office on site ! We had NO IDEA where our spot was and nearly got stuck in the maze of storage units looking for our number.. all while driving a large pickup with trailer down narrow lanes !!!! Another renter told us that he thought those numbers were near the entry. How in the heck would we have known that !? And with no person available in the office to ask for help . I tried calling the тАЬhelpтАЭ phone number and just got a phone runaround that was never answered by a human either. We found our spot and locked everything up tight because we saw several people LIVING in storage units looking!!!!???? So they get a cheap place to live I guess but since there are no employees no one even knows !! I hope my trailer is still there when I go to check on it . Never again at this placeтАж..ЁЯШб

- I was able to secure a parking space online fairly easily and at a great monthly rate. The process of reserving online was very efficient. From the point that I began completing the application, it only took around 15 minutes until I received the confirmation email. Having Bluetooth gate access is phenomenal! Utilizing the app and my account, I didn't have any issues getting into or out of the facility. The outdoor vehicle storage rear area is the reason that I couldn't give a higher rating. The rear area is poorly lit and the space markings definitely need to be updated. I had a tough time identifying my space due to only 30% (or so) of the space-number-identifier-marking was legible, and even that portion was faded. On a more personal note, it looked like a vehicle graveyard back there. The vehicle storage side area seems much more appealing...and safer.
