- Extra Space Storage (ESS) Site Manager, Thomas, was thorough, courteous, responsive and helpful through registration and securing our RV Parking space. So far all is good with the ESS product. Organizationally, registering first with SpareFoot and then do just about the same with Extra Space Storage seemed redundant. I would have thought that the SpareFoot information would have been sent to the ESS site with the referral. Organizationally again, I see lack of continuity is the Extra Space Storage sites. I am an Extra Space Storage customer in another state. I would of thought that my customer status would be accessible at any site of the ESS network. I do not feel it is justifiable to charge to establish another account and charge me the $30 for set up.

- This is the best deal that I could find during my search for a storage unit... There are definitely a lot of benefits of getting a unit here.. They are reasonably priced for the large units. Good Security. Office Manager was nice.. There were only two things that weren't my favorite. The fact that the whole office closes during lunch, with no warning of it until you get to the office to see the sign. Also, you have to have a specific lock that ends up costing you about $20 for itself... I recommend this place.

- First time using a climate controlled storage facility. I liked how the lights were motion activated both in the halls & inside the storage unit which was very tall. The hollow wall slats were nice for keeping long items out of the way. Tons of carts to help unload quickly. But, there was no ramp near the door for larger items. The other more annoying problem I had was with the door way itself. If you only had a few items to unload it was fine that you had to stop to enter the door code. But, for storaging items of an entire house, it was super inconvenient to keep stopping the flow by walking over to the keypad to get access. It was less of an issue when other people were also unloading so the inside sensor the door open longer. But, the signs said not to keep them open or they’d be disabled. They even tape over the bypass switch to keep them open with a ‘do not touch’ sign too. So, we didn’t bother but someone must have the next day we went because at the end we both realized we never did see the door close at all the second day & it made unloading much easier.
